Muxicall is a web-based Flash project by Diana Antunes, a student at the University of Aveiro, Portugal, designed to “explore artistic concepts related to the phenomenon of collective composition & improvisation.” Users are given a selection of 3 instruments (Piano, Drums and Strings), a chat window and a “shared space of musical creation” - all the tools needed to create music however they see fit. I’ve sent an email to Ms.Antunes requesting more information about her project as well as any planned updates. If I receive a response, you all will be the first to know.
